Cycles of Newness

I cannot say that I have ever been alone, though I can say that I have been lonely. Hell defined as utter and complete loneliness is far more grounded in reality than flames, pitchforks and wailing souls. We have never known complete loneliness, as we have never been fully removed from God and his good love.

I have never known a lonely God. I have never prayed or worshipped alone, God has always been triune, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in perfect communion with one another. The Father has always shared himself with the Son, and the Son with the Spirit and never have they began or ceased to pour out their love. So as I enter into worship in Spirit and in truth, I enter into a holy and ancient symphony of love as it begins its next movement. To worship any God other than the Holy Trinity is to worship a god that was once lonely, a god with unfulfilled needs and a god in Hell.
